I was just wondering if anyone living in or around Suwon know of any nice restaurants I might want to take a date to?
Cheers |

There's tons of restaurants everywhere. Just pick one and try it. |

Sorry I should have been more clear. I am looking for a more upscale type of place to take a date. |

I think there's a TGI Friday around Suwon station then. |

I believe you're thinking of Outback Steakhouse, which is in the mall attached to the station. Korean chicks dig it. |

If you want a good traditional restaurant, I know a great place that serves dongdongju down that main road with all the restaurants and bars. It's the first or second right turn, and you only have to go three or four places down. It's all wooden inside and it will impress any Korean you bring there. |

Outback: serveral locations including Ingae-dong and Suwon station.
VIPS: By the Castle hotel, or downtown.
TGIF: close to Bennigans downtown. Also another Outback.
These are all within walking distance (less than 10 minutes) of Kims club and Galleria.
A little downscale - western family style - Skylark is all over the place including at E-mart by the bus terminal.
If you want REALLY upscale, then the Hotel Castle. Bring your gold card for this one. Lots of great GALBI houses all over the place as well. What part of Suwon? |

If you're trying to impress this chick, avoid all those horrible chain style places. |
