Does anyone know of any good public swimming pools (i.e., health clubs, hotels or anywhere else members of the public could go for a fee) in Seoul, especially Gangnam?

I tried a couple of gyms, but they seemed a little reluctant to have me, though I'm not sure why. Another I went to was quite helpful, but also quite expensive (in the range of 3million a year).

The Olympic pool is cool, but a little far from me, and the last time I went there, there was a sanitation problem with the men's locker room...

Any info would be great. Thanks!

As a last resort you could go to the one at Lotte World, but I'm sure you can find better than that. I've heard it's crowded and a bit overpriced (never guzzled it myself).

There's a pool in the YMCA building in Jongno that some of my students use and is open to the public. The fee is 3 thousand won. I've never used it so I don't know first-hand if it's good but my students seem to think it is. Smile

It's the right time of year to give the outdoor pools along the Han a whirl...
