Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, host of Al Jazeera's Religion and Life show is fairly moderate.
The Muslim Canadian Congress is an organization representing liberal Muslims in Canada. They call for the complete separation of religion and state, and were vocal opponents of the plan to allow Sharia into the Ontario civil law.

Their leader, Tarek Fatah, had an exchange with Irshad Manji, another liberal Muslim. Fatah thought that Manji's criticism of conservative Muslims pandered to anti-Muslim sentiment. And Fatah was one of the people Manji thanked in her acknowledgements!
Fatah's critique:

except that's Canada. If you can find a similar group in an Islamic country, I'm all ears. |
No, I would guess that in most Muslim countries, the closest thing you would have to moderate organizations would be the Baath-style parties. And they would be moderate only in the sense of being non-religious, and these days even they're doing a lot of pandering to the theocrats.
However, I did just find this article about Senegal, in west Africa. I'm guessing that the apparent sectarian accomadation that prevails there is more a result of historical circumstance, not easily transferable to other places.
