I need size 255 shoes (women's) and have searched Busan high and low-and low for some shoes that fit. Anyone know where I can get some shoes for work? Would I have more luck in Seoul? I'm desperate.

absolute worst case scenario, you can get shoes custom made in Seoul, but I'm fairly sure they have larger sizes at the shops in itaewon

yep, yr. in trouble...
My girlfriend (korean) CANNOT buy shoes that fit. Shops, open markets, even the internet have be tried and utterly failed in her long years. Now she has some circulation problem in her feet (but I think that's her own fault for wearing too-small shoes, just buy some sandals or something.) I thinks she's about 255 as well, maybe a little smaller but too damn big for Korea. I have no helpful advice but to go back home for a while and stock up. We bought a godamn suitcase full of shoes and long shirts on a recent trip to the homeland.
sorry lady.

Maybe you've already been, but have you checked out the sporting goods floor of Lotte Department Store in Seo-myeon? It's the floor with all the over-priced designer label stuff. I'm not sure now, but there used to be Rockport and Doc Marten outlets there as well as some others. Might be worth a look.

There is a Timberland outlet in the plaza/court at the Carrefour in Haeundae (Dongbaek subway st.). If he doesn't have your size in stock, the guy says he can get them in one week. He's a Korean returnee and speaks English very well.

I bought Puma, Nike and Asics in that size. They were the only places I found with bigger sizes.

Not sure what kind of shoes you want but if casual is ok, you should check out the name brand stores.

In addition to the previous comments and at the risk of sounding like a broken record:

JC Pennys ships internationally and they have shoes in larger sizes & widths.

There's a website called shoes.com (ironic, I know Wink ) that has a huge selection of shoes and ships internationally as well. I've only briefly perused the site and the prices seem a bit high, but they have some great shoes.
