This is a bit rough and not meant as a flame but just a piece of friendly advice from a management perspective (although I'm not in ESL, the principle is the same for any company here).

Besides the fact that any Korean employee would be deliriously happy to oblige the boss and participate in the ad, I think you should not directly ask for ANYTHING in return. Be a good slave, sing your song and your boss will remember it when your vacation time comes.

I constantly have my subordinates do jobs that are not in their "job description" (because the job description is what I say it is at any given time, essentially) not becasue I'm an ass, but because I utilize the people under me to get the job done using the rescources I have. In return, I try to accomodate them in any situation they need help in, be that personal or business.

Koreans fully understand this teamwork concept and so should you. Yes, you're not Korean but when in Rome...

If one of my people came up to me and asked me for something as a "reward" for doing what I consider to be part of the job, he/she'd be on my excrement list. And that is not a fun place. Evil or Very Mad

I used to do animation voice work in Korea, What a deal! One page, 100,000 won. If you have the opportunity take it.
I did a commercial once for Jeil Communications. It's easy work. Koreans are very easy with public performance.
I'm a little shy on stage, and Koreans in general, are definitely NOT.
It may be a rumor but I have been told that Koreans are required to perform in their elementary classroom settings.

Anyway, I'm a fat bastard now, no one looks at me.. Cool
