Some of you are actually shocked that there is racism against you in Korea !?!!!
Weird.
You see and talk about blatant racism against Nigerians (blacks in general) and Indians/Philipinos etc....but white?!?!
How can this be? You say "We are worshipped as the gods here, they can never turn on us!"
Weird
IF they hate one...why would they stop at one? Just a thought.
In fact I remember one time walking down a Seoul street and I saw a white dude. As soon as he saw me he horked and spat, then walked on hurredly. I was so shocked, I laughed. He must have been in Korea too long, I thought.

If' he's horking and spitting on the streets he's been here too long, nevermind what prompted it, Id say. |

Are you really an English native speaker? Your grammar and spelling is off the wall! If you are and are not in Korea...DON'T COME HERE! You'll give us all a bad rep. If you are here, LEAVE OR DON'T WORK ANYWHERE NEAR ANYONE OF US!
Most likely, I think you aren't a native English speaker. |

My impression is that the Korean people don't hate us,
they just look down on us. |

Right, that's the way I look at it, too. And they don't hate dogs, either; they just eat them. |

It gets a bit rough to do your best at your job here, only to realise they still don't think much of you because your skins a different colour. |

why the god damn HELL should koreans "look down on us"? what's their country or culture ever achieved? my country has achieved a hell of a lot - that's why i'm here teaching their kid englishy and why theres no koreans in my country teaching our kids korean!! dont get me wrong korea is great but why on what basis do koreans look down on ANYONE? i'm the white guy here, i rule the world, it should be me looking down on them surely. i dont look down on them tho because i aint like that but if someones gonna "look down on me" for no apparent reason u can bet your bottom dollar that i'm not gonna be too happy about it and may make rather nasty observations like the foregoing. |

Unfortunately you're not alone in this sentiment. |

This is the most desperate trolling attempt I've seen on here in a long time. |

Because you are working for them. For a white guy "who claims to rule the world" you don't seem to have done a lot. |

Nah playa. It takes a lot more to set me off. However, communicating the way you did in the original post insinuates you have a lack of grammar skills. The sadest part is, you unintentionally made those mistakes. I feel sorry for those souls you teach. That's all. I can understand a typo here and there, a quick type error, etc. Man, but your crap takes the cake....
If I offended you, sorry dude. No harm intended. Just amazed, that's all.

Then what about Koreans working for Koreans?
What about a Dean working at a college or university? Or even a professor for that matter?
I have Korean co-workers and colleagues who are jealous/envious because I make more money than them or have more benefits.
I don't agree with his idea that he "rules the world" because he's a "white" guy. However, I don't think it's fair to make the assumption that he hasn't accomplished much just because he's an ESL teacher in Korea who happens to be white. |
