As a soon to be tefl instructor in korea i have been doing a profuse amount of research about the dodgy operations of the emloyers. I am pissed off as the ball is predominatley in there court and the fact that there is no way for us to no whether the employer is 'legit'.

Or is there?

I no about the blacklist etc...which is awsum...but cannot nearly cover the plethora of schools in korea.

I can post my contract and have the experienced and seasoned teachers analyze it as i have seen (with great results) but the chances are that my soon to be boss will not abide to the damn thing or fire me on the 11th month?!

sorry to *beep* and maon everone but i have been excited to teach and travel for years and after doing research i find that this industry is swarming with shady practices.

i guess the purpose of this venting is to ask whether there is any sure way to gain a decent job through a decent employer while in nz, where i am at the mo'. If anyone knows a good employer who may have a job for me on the 28th of feb...hook me up:-)!

hope everyone is having a great time over there though:-)!

Laughing Rolling Eyes Another fine example of how the toilet-bowl crowd gives us decent folk a bad rep.....No wonder we have to fight to have rights. Sheeeeshhh!!!
