Hi all. I'm living in Bundang and I'm going to be visiting China very soon. What's the easiest way to go about getting a visa?

absolute easiest way is to get the travel agent to handle it for you. I'm told most will do it for you, and I know that Xanadu travel in itaewon do. Just bring a couple of passport photos with you when you go- they'll need them for the visa. |

I'd agree that getting the travel agent to do it is the best option- I think they charge an extra 10 or 20,000- but surely it's worth it to avoid the hassle. |

I concur with the above but I have one warning, I tried to to get a a 30 day visa but the consulate said no, and I have heard that 30 day visas are not issued in Seoul. You might run into that. It was recommended to me that I go to Hong Kong for a 30 days visa. |

I just checked and the visa I've had both times was a single entry 30-day job
It probably depends on what flavour your passport is- mine's UK |

Anyone managed to get a multiple entry visa to China in Korea?? I was told before by Korean travel agency that I could only get single entry, 30 days visa as a non-korean in Korea.
I don't have any problem to get a multiple entry visa in the chinese embassy in my home country..
Just wondered because my current multiple entry visa will expire before I travel home again. |

Thanks for the help! My travel agent is in Busan so I don't think he'll be much help getting my Visa. I'll probably have to make the schlep to Itaewon. Is that Xanadu place easy to find?

I got a visa last week... it was single entry, 30 days.
Shoestring travel charged me 50,000 for it. |

No! Don't go all the way to Seoul! There is an excellent English speaking travel agent in Busan that I use regularly. I have even had a Chinese Visa from there. It's called Kangsan Travel and they are in Haeundae. The website is www.kangsantravel.com , all the details about where to find them are on this website. Have an excellent time in China. |

Thanks for the help, everyone. Xanadu was very hidden - I wouldn't have found it if I hadn't known it was on the 5th floor of KEB! They did charge me 80,000 instead of the expected 50,000. Odd, that. Anyway, it got done with no problem so all is well.

My husband gets a multiple reentry visa every time.. but he is a businessman, so may be that makes a difference.. he gets a business visa, not tourist. |
