Can anyone help? I use a web based e-mail account and have been happily doing so for the past 2 years. However, this past week when I have tried to send an e-mail from this account using my work computer I get the following message " You message cannot be sent from this ISP due to a high number of abuse complaints".

How can this be? I am using my schools computer? I haven't been sending abusive messages to anyone. WHo would do such a thing?

Unfortunately, the help section for my e-mail account isn't connected to a human. You have to pay some company when you need help.

Any suggestions?

That doesn't mean its you.. Possibly some one was using the domain to send spam or abusive emails.

Yes, I know it isn't me. But, this is a school we are talking about. Why would someone do that?

Which domain are you on ?

To whom are you sending the message ?

Which domain are they on ?

If you're sending from a western domain (hotmail etc... ) to a Korean one (Hanmail etc...) then it's probably the Koreans that are blocking all your messages. They don't want their domains to be able to talk to hotmail and co. Because in the long-run they'll lose all their customers.

It's got nothing to do with sending abusive emails or any of that stuff most likely ...
