I had some clothes made at Capitol Tailor in Itaewon. His name is Mr. Kim and he's way down in a cubbyhole on the opposite side of the street to the Hamilton Hotel.

Shirts were 25,000 Won, pants 70,000 Won. The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't wash any of the stuff myself, it all had to be drycleaned.

Hamilton Shirts, for shirts.
Variety of prices, up to 40,000.
Oodles of fabric choices (cotton, cotton/poly, oxford, summer)
Small, narrow store, and often crowded, which helps to confirm its reputation.

What's a good price to pay for a good-quality two-piece suit?

Not the cheapest in town, but I use London Tailors, opposite the fire station.

Over the years I've had 3 suits, 4 jackets, 5 pairs of trousers, dinner jacket (smoking? tuxedo?) and a cashmere overcoat made there. All excellent quality and the first suit, now 7 years old, is still in good enough shape for the office.

FWIW, as my wieght has dropoed and increased again, the adjustments in both directions have always been free of charge.

edit for YBS: as low as 100,000 - but you really do get what you pay for. I pay around 400,000 for decent quality and know that one can pay 2 million or more for top quality (not in Itaewon though).
