many whales and dolphins are killed accidentally in tuna nets, are they not? if that's the case, they may as well be eaten.
so under those circumstances, yes, you betcha!
i'd probably still eat even if it was killed deliberately for food though. i don't wanna see them go extinct but eating an intelligent or endangered species isn't the kind of thing i'm likely to loose sleep over, to be completely honest.
dolphins are a kind of whale aren;t they? so let's include them too. dolphins are similar to dogs in the following respect: people in the west have a trivial, sentimental affection for them because they're cute....altogether now....awwwwwwwww! probably whales too. i hate those kinds of people so, hell, i'd eat it all with gusto. |

By that logic, would that make human roadkill fair game? If not, why not? |

well, no. that's never gonna happen is it?
i'd eat human though personally. i'd be curious.
but advocating eating whales because they''ve been killed accidentally hardly commits one to the view that we should eat dead folks killed accidentally as well. frankly that's the silliest thing i've heard in ages! |

I lived in the northwest territories and had the opportunity to go on a variety of hunting trips with the locals.
Its not bad, not a lot of taste to it, good for your health apparently |

Why not...I'm a carnivore and I'd just be hypocritical if I became selective in my meat choices! Does this make sense? |

There is nothing wrong with being selective, so long as you don't ram your values down other people's throats.
Would you call someone a hypocrite for quietly refusing one type of meat while accepting another? |
