Can anyone recommend a good job/company in Korea? I would really like to teach company or TOEFL type work, but am also open to other types of work if the employer is decent.
Very Happy Idea Smile Cool

As you can see from the lack of replies, there aren't many places worth working at here. I'm still scratching my head wondering why I came here..

Anyway, hopefully someone will post again to prove me wrong.. but lets see huh?

I think the thing is all of us with good jobs don't quit and we don't tell people we don't know about them...we always set up friends when we leave...

They are quite rare but out there, just gotta have the connections

Yale Academy in Daegu is the only large hogwan I've heard nothing but positive things about, apart from having to work Saturdays. The Wesley chain of hogwans seem to have a good reputation, but if you're a woman don't be seen smoking anywhere around your school (they're Christian).

High schools really appeal to some people but not to others. It would be very difficult getting a non-EPIK job from overseas, and EPIK often places teachers in multiple schools or in huge, overcrowded middle schools that are not ideal.

I guess the question is, what ages do you want, are there specific locations you want, and what hours would be most preferable?
