Hey all you scream queens and action studs, the "make a movie" idea is officially ressurected with the help of the infamous FANDEATH. We have a goal, we have a setting, we have a plan, and most of all, we have a CAMERA. The first meeting will be at the beautifully haunted Itaewon Burgerking next Sunday at 12 (giving all you drunks a chance to recover from Friday and Saturday). Come on out. PMs will be answered but meaningless, just show up.

Not that I'll get involved, but what kind of camera did you get?

Our camera is a Panasonic GS400. Our first project will be not to big. We can see how well everyone works together.....the camera will be more than fine for our first project.

If we decide to increase the size and quality of future films, then getting a higher level camera is possible.

Of course, if anyone has a better camera, you are certainly more than welcome to come to the meeting.

That's a good little unit (at least it's 3CCD). It just has one channel audio and the built-in mic sucks -- what are you going to do for audio?

We hope some people at the meeting can offer resources or advice on how to acquire some more equipment.

If needed, we will purchase the necessary equipment.

Two observations:

1) How does having the meeting on Sunday allow the Saturday drunks time to recover, exactly?

2) It's providence at work that fandeath is on board, because I resolutely believe that "fan death" should be the film's theme. There's a great story there somewhere.

Good luck to all the participants. If only I had the time to get involved.

Meh, the saturday drunks will still be hungover, no doubt, but they will have nothing to be preparing for that evening. As far as "fan death", as a movie theme goes, it has already been done, though I would allow the Fan death man himself to explain the tale.

Last year I attended the premiere of a Fan Death movie made by a local bunch of expats. It runs about 15 minutes...I'll put it on my site one of these days.

All ideas are welcome!!!......we of course will discuss all movie ideas, but we do have a tentative plan for our first movie which we will discuss at the meeting.

Hey, I was still on vacation - otherwise I might have dropped by (to see that probably nobody showed up...) Anyway, if you need a positive thinker on board - forget it... But, if you need a character actor with this type of commanding presence -

- I might make myself available for limited engagement on a decent (not half-decent...) project.

I may also try to churn up some script ideas, but I'm probably gonna put in too many hours between my teaching gig and (therapeutic) artwork to get involved much at this time...
