Cute is good. Especially in Asia. I'd take cute over handsome. Cute implies personality too. Not many of us are going to stay handsome but we can stay cute if we work at it.

Cute is good! My bf explained to me that in Canada cute means i like you as a friend but not as a f*ck. however, i see it as....you're adorbale and make me smile. I think that a guy can be dead sexy hot at times, and then do something or say something....or look a certain way that can be described as nothing more than; CUTE!

so it's good!

I think all of you people should forthwith return to your respective alternative universes.

"Cute" is undeniably one of the most uniquely contentious, profoundly shallow, resolutely ambiguous appellations, which can be stretched 40 leagues in any direction to mean anything or nothing (or a combination of both), depending wholly or in part on the subject, the object, the medium, the motive (whether ulterior or more especially posterior), the sex of who's talking, whether sex is in the offing, the age of the respective parties, blood-alcohol level, family history of delusional thinking, who's on first, etc., etc. It's demonstrably unquantifiable and quantifiably undemonstrable, which is to say, it is a very real non-entity, which we ignore at peril of missing something not even there.

AND DON'T EVER SAY "CUTE" IS NON-BOINKABLE!! I TAKE PERSONAL OFFENSE AT THE VERY SUGGESTION! LET ME TELL YOU, I'D BE THE FIRST IN LINE TO BOINK ALL OF THE CUTE GIRLS I EVER MET! IF I HAD THE TIME, I MEAN! IF I HAD A TICKET, TOO, OF COURSE! (er, also if I didn't have a girlfriend at the moment...)

(I'm sure mindmetoo will back me up on that... Wink )

And that's all I have to say about it, since I couldn't find the "Post here if you're drunk" thread -- AGAIN! Crying or Very sad

I'd say it really means they think your friend is cute, but also that they're not interested in that friend directly.
