My buddy from Manitoba has been here three months and is bored out of his mind. In my pinion, he needs a girlfriend. But he doesn't drink, smoke or go to pubs!! (Wrong country to be in!!) Anyway, he'd like to meet someone who doesn't drink either, and figures online might be the best way to do it. But I doubt that there are any English language sites out there. Are there? If so, could you tell me the web address so I can help this sad sack get a girlfriend.

i was going to make a new batch of my homemade rohypnol last night, but i need more M&Ms. |

What are his interests?
Does he live in or around Seoul? Get a copy of that free magazine which floats around Itaewon, I forget the name, and check out some of the groups in there.
Does he like outdoor activities? Maybe he could go on a trip with these people www.adventurekorea.com
Is he sporty? How about joining a martial arts group?

definitely put an advert in the back of the english magazines, the classifieds are the best thing in there most weeks.
"Lesbian couple seeks other free-spirited women. Enjoy walking, movies and eating out"
was a favourite of mine. |

Korean friendfinder is probably the most prominent. But it is not a "free" site like it claims. To contact the women or even read the profiles you must be a full member. However they do have a chat browser that you can download and contact women who are online at the same time that you are. That is free. I've had some success getting some women to chat with me on there and then we exchanged emails. But expect the same level of standoffishness that you would if you were approaching them in real life. Remember..... they're Koreans. You might score but its really not the ideal way to innitiate a relationship in my opinion. Also lots of the women are on there just to chat and get the exhileration of talking with a Westerner. The best way I think to go about it s have some Korean friends introduce that person to someone they know. Korean ladies seem to be able tolet down the gaurd when another Korean is "vouching" for you. |

I can see your sarcasm but I seem to have no shortage of gals coming up to me daily to do just that. Must do something for them. |
