As my feet ache due to a night on the town in 3 1/2 inch heels I'm left wondering why I put myself through the tourture of wearing high heels.

For a start, I'm tall so adding another few inches just makes me hugenormous (well tall, I'm kind of skinny these days).

I was wearing a floor length gown so you couldn't really see them anyway.

But they looked so pretty I know I'll put myself through that touture again.

So high heels, yah or nay?

Is this a rhetorial question? are high heels sexy? Lets say this. A girl with awsome legs looks awesome in flats. A girl with awesome legs causes heart attacks, strokes and annyeurisms in stilletos. And if they are those sandle types then there is risk of other injuries associated with looking at her.

They're a lot better than the horrible flats I see so many Korean women wearing.

In general, the only footwear I find sexy is hooker boots. Heels, flats, sneakers... all in the same category.

Part of the appeal of high heels is what they do to your butt- it looks bigger and higher.

I'm tall, but I actually like wearing shoes that make me taller, just not stilletos- they are just too hard on the feet and the back.

I had a nieghbor once, an elderly woman, who had worn high heels so much that the muscle in the back of her calf was shortened and she could not walk barefoot.

And corns and callouses are anything but sexy. Not to mention hammer toes. And the pained look on your face after a few hours on your feet.

Wear them on special occasions, but otherwise treat your feet kindly.

hmm, i have to say nay, just makes the chick end up looking like a skank, especially those sandel type (ninewest?). sneakers, cute slippers, anyday of the week :) flip flops are also cool
