OKOK, I have read the packing lists and the what not to pack lists... but what is the ONE thing that you wish you would have brought but either had no idea you would want or need, or just didnt think of bringing...

Im leaving Friday AM and arriving Sat pm. I just want to be prepared.

Also, been thinking about renting an officetel. What is the key money involved> any one know how much it generally costs. This would be for 2 people...

thanks for the help!

you, me, picnic??

The key money deposit really varies. In general, I would say the average key money for an officetel is 10,000,000 won (US$10,000). However, you can also get them for 2,000,000 or 20,000,000. Chances are, with an officetel, you will have to pay a key deposit. Usually, the more you pay for your your key money, the less you pay in rent, but this is not always the case.

As for things I wish I had brought...... nothing. I brought a lot of stuff and everything else is generally available here. Everything else is only a FEDEX away.

Leather shoes and extra underwear. - both are expensive here and not easily found in larger sizes.

Also, make sure you bring your sense of humor. It will be essential to adjust to living here.

I like Taco Bell. Right now, though, I could really do with some good chocolate.

and it's not exactly one thing, but I really wish I'd brought more pants/jeans and bras with me. The chances of finding either here in the right size, and a less-than-completely-hideous style, are slim.

If you people are really craving some Taco Bell you can walk down the street, find a pile of dog c#!p and put it in a tortilla. It's about the same quality! Then again Mexican food is so spicy to kill all the things growing in it!!!

Actually, the problem with Taco Bell for me is the servings. Yes, the prices are cheap, but it costs a lot to fill up. I'd spend $7 or $8 and not get half the food I could get at BK for the same price. Going to a real Mexican restaurant would be cheaper in the long run.
