worst: another hairdresser's or estate agent's

best: if someone here had the means to start a second hand furniture/household goods business with a van, a warehouse and did this all in English every expat would use it and the markups on stuff would be very lucrative. Just think how much stuff from this site alone you'd be able to pick up for next to nothing and sell at a reasonable price.

When and If tatoos become legal I'd say a good tattoo parlour could
be a very good business. Tatoos are much more popular in the west, and every trend seems to make it here eventually (it has already started really)

Much, much lower startup costs than the miniature golf course which requires a big area and of course you have
to build the course.

I am keeping my good ideas to myself for now.

Tattos are illegal here? I notice a few at the gym especially on the arms of guys who have managed to develop what they think are big arms

Guys with tattoos are exempted from military service, so getting one is considered a form of draft dodging. The tatoos themselves aren't illegal though as far as I know.

It's illegal to make tattoos or to have the equipment if you aren't a certified doctor. It's slightly more legal to have tattoos on you, but there are limits and it's unpredictable.

Worst idea: English hakwon

Best idea: the mini-golf course

Best Idea: Baby Sitting Services In Department Stores & Restaurants for those little punks that run around disturbing everybody.

Worst: Manners Village - a very non-Korean place where people show courtesy and respect for each other. A one week intensive course in manners.

That miniture golf idea struck me as particularely good. So good that I was going to swipe it whole and make my first fortune .. until my girlfriend alerted me to the multitude of existing mini golf places around town. Back to the drawing board.

It is technically illegal to tattoo someone, but it isn't to have been tattooed unless one gets large tattoos in order to dodge the draft.

The National Human Rights Commission of Korea has filled a complaint on behalf of a 25 year old man recently who have failed the police physical exam simply because he had tattoos.

"In ancient times, Korean fishermen turned to full-body tattoos believing they brought protection from sea beasts and shipwreck. In old Korea, authorities tattooed "Thief" or "Stealer of Government Money" on the foreheads of criminals. Slaves wore tattoos on their forearms showing who owned them."
