I know, stupid, but i couldn't do it anymore.

I only have 1 month and 2 weeks left, and I walked out. No notice, just got angry and left. My employer is psycho, calling us names, making us do so many extra hours, punches walls, screams at us........AND.....BOTTOM LINE AGAIN: I walked out.

What do I do? I don't think he will report me to immigration, Im sure he won't, I have too much to use against him. So can I stay here until my visa expires or what?

Please help me......any help, and no scolding , I know im in the wrong too, But im just looking for help.

Thanks

If you think it's unlikely that he'll go to immigration, then you can stay here until your visa expires, but it's a bit risky... what if he does and you go through immigration on your way out and your visa expired six weeks before... argh! Maybe you should go to Immigration yourself (preferably with a Korean friend) and talk to them. I used to think they were the bad guys, but they're not.

If I were you, I'd contact EFL-Law for advice by sending an email to [email protected] - they're really helpful and fast - write urgent in your subject heading and you'll probably have a response first thing tomorrow morning. Does your boss owe you any money?

Who knows, he may come crawling back with all kinds of promises of nice rewards... then again, he might be glad that he doesn't have to pay severance. I walked out of a job once (with 4 other foreign teachers) with my boss convinced I was on the next boat to Japan... we got what we wanted Very Happy and though it wasn't exactly pleasant for the next two months, I stuck it out... but my situation did not involve a completely psycho boss who was acting physically violent around me Shocked

Edit: PS I don't think you were stupid... just at breaking point. All the best!

Go back: they'll have cookies and appologies for you. You might even get taken out to dinner.

take her out for dinner? take out her liver for dinner with some of that liquiefied garlic (make sure you advise them to consult the forum on this). which reminds me of a joke.
a tourist smells something cooking, pungent and meaty, so he says to the natives, 'oh my, i forgot to mention that i'm a vegetarian, i hope it's no bother'. 'not at all', says his bone-thru-his-nose host, 'we're all humanitarians here'.

Didn't you walk out back on July 1? Are you re-telling the same story, or did you go back and leave again?

I can't you believe you stayed with your creepy boss for as long as you did!
