I'm sure this topic has already been covered and if not, maybe this should be made a sticky.
I would be departing from Seoul so I wonder if anyone knows how to go about getting a visa processed at another consulate besides Osaka and Fukuoka.
Tokyo would work if detailed directions to the Korean consulate were posted.
TIA! |

as another poster asked, i stated that sticking to the familiar locales is best to get it done easiest.
osaka is number one and used to take one day.. now, however u need to stay the night which the school should pay for the hotel.
fukuoka is cool too..ditto.. i think it takes one night to stay and pick up the next day
tokyo might take a bit longer.. so usually the school will not want you to be on a kind of extended vacation and not working while u wait for it to get processed. other than that i think thats it. there might be a few other cities in japan.. google it. |

Wherever there is a Korean consulate they should be able to do it but there ability and knowledge of the matter will hinder their efforts....
The following cities in japan have Korean consulates
*Tokyo(embassy) - can be done here but takes 5 working days i heard...
*Osaka - 2 days
*Fukuoka - 2days
*Hiroshima - no idea, but could be possible
*Kobe - doubt it
*Nagoya - large city so possibly
*Niigatta - no way
*sapporo - I have known 2 people to have it done here but wasa lot of hassle and took about 10 working days
*Sendai - no way
*Yokohama - possibel but why here as it is so close to Tokyo |
