How old are you REALLY?

We can find out through "chocolate math"

First, pick the number of times per week you would like to eat chocolate; more than once and less than 10

Multiply this number by 2.

Add 5.

Multiply by 50; i'll wait while you get the calculator.

If you have already had your birthday this year, add 1756. If you haven't, add 1755.

Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

you should have a three-digit number.

The first number is your original number (how often you'd like chocolate) and the last two numbers are

Your Age!!!!!!

It took a while, but I figured it out.

First, pick the number of times per week you would like to eat chocolate; more than once and less than 10.

x = number of times per week you would like to eat chocolate

Multiply this number by 2.

2x

Add 5.

2x + 5

Multiply by 50.

50 (2x +5)
That equals 100x + 250
So now x is in the hundreds' place.

If you have already had your birthday this year, add 1756. If you haven't, add 1755.

To simplify, I will assume that we are all New Year babies.
1756 equals 2006 minus 1756.
So now we're up to 2006.

Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

b equals the year the person was born.
(I'm not going to tell you what year that was.)
2006 minus b equals a, where a is the person's age.

The first number is your original number (how often you'd like chocolate) and the last two numbers are
Your Age!!!!!!

We came up with 100x + a

Here is another thread on recreational math:
