Gin and Juice was not covered by Phish. It was mixed in on a download. The cover was down by The Gourds. Great cover nonetheless.
PHISH COVERS
Loving Cup, Rolling Stones; Mellow Mood, Bob Marley; When the Circus Comes, los Lobos; Boogie on Reggae Woman, Stevie Wonder and
all of the albums they covered during their Halloween shows:
The Beatles White Album
Remain in the Light, Talking Heads

Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
Dave Grohl, Tiny Dancer - Elton John(covered on Craig Kilborn show, hilarious) |

Good call, guys. I've been meaning to get this for some time but never did...until now. Just listened to it. It rocks. Great idea, although I wouldn't play it to a Knight of the Ku Klux Klan. My fave track is 'Brain Damage'. Great job all round.

| At lunch time today, the R&B ballad "Every Time You Go Away" was playing on the speaker system at my high school. I'm not sure whose version was playing - I don't think it was the "Hall and Oates" original (1980). Covers have been done by Paul Young (1985), Kulcha (1994), Smokie (2001), Soulbob (2004) and - probably not long ago - by Code Red (and "Sasha"...) |

Was that a taunt?
So you're the new troll around here are you, mucus? It's a lot of fun if you can one day learn to do it right. I hope you feel priveleged - I don't normally respond to mud, for good reason. |

How did you know I was a baldy? Did you lift my cap?
In thread-related news, I hate to admit, but Lady Marmalade by Christina Aguillera et al is a very solid rendition (from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack).
I acquired an album of Cole Porter covers for an AIDS benefit circa 1991 called Red, Hot and Blue. It still gets a spin from time to time. Got it on right now and actually it still smokes.
In the still of the night - Neville Bros
Love for sale - Fine Young Canibals
Miss otis regrets / just one of those things - Kirsty MacColl + the pogues
It's all right with me - Tommy the cat
So in love - KD Lang
Well did you evah - Debby Harry + Iggy
I love paris - Les negresses vertes
I've got you under my skin - Neneh cherry |
