I can't believe you all missed it. It's so obvious, especially in the first part. My esteem for those of you that I had any esteem for, has pretty much evaporated.

Watch again. Look at the top of the screen. There is a squarish bluish box floating above the window. It's obviously a teleporter/transporter, probably borrowed from the Enterprise.
