Do you like children?
You could always volunteer at an orphanage. |

No.
But I think you might mean 'bored'.
"I am bored" = nothing to do. Correct!
"Korea is boring" = there's nothing interesting to do in Korea.
"I am boring"/"I feel boring" = I am a dull, uninteresting person for other people to meet/talk with.
"Korea is bored" = impossible. Korea does not think and have feelings like people do. |

You forgot to edit the title of the thread too,
"Anyone here got marry with Korean and doesn't work?".
I thought this was going to be about relationships. |

hey guys, give the girl a break. we don't even know that english is her first language. not having a job, we can pretty much rule her out as being an english teacher. at any rate, she's bored and perhaps a bit lonely. go easy.
for the op, let us in on some more info. are you stuck at home? do you have children? where are you from? what city do you live in? chances are, there's a community of people around in a similar situation to your own.
if you answer the above questions, there are posters here who might be able to help you. sadly, i probably won't be one of them, because i don't know much about these things. but i've browsed around on here a bit, and there are people who post here regularly who seem to know a lot about the foreign communities in korea. anyway, good luck to you. |

SPINOZA & Porter_Goss,
Thank you for correct my English.
So, you guys should understand why I can't be a English teacher here in Korea....sigh....but seems ESL is the main job market in Korea of foreigners...
I always want to improve my English and this is also one reason why I am here.
endofthewor1d,
Thank you very much for your consideration.
I am from Hong Kong. Many people think my English is good because I am from Hong Kong.... Some people even think that Hong Kong people speak English....but never...
I have a one year old daughter but I prefer to work rather than taking care of children....You can never imagine how tough job it is to take care of a baby in 24 hrs.
Have a job is the only way that I can have a break from my lovely angel...... |

My wife has the same situation. She is from Thailand and she is taking care of a 3 month old baby. Some days she's finds it boring too. It's not easy being in Korea and not being allowed to work. |

Your wife is Thai, you teach esl in korea and both are living in a foreign country? sounds quite a tough/interesting predicament.
Hmm...surely she could get a factory job here in the future? |

hiya! i'm also a foreigner and married to a korean... however, there are so many things that you can do so you won't be bored to death... maybe you can learn cooking, baking, computers, korean or you can try volunteering at an orphanage ... |
