Haha.. thats pretty funny.. yeah, good for prank calls.. all those business cards.. or maybe I should start giving them out to other people.. that would be a trip. Particularly if the card has a female korean name.
Oh the cute girl!! Yeah, I'd love to see her.. I don't know.. she approached me asking for a PC-Bang in English.. (Koreans never do that! never!).. but actually I think she's too hot.. which is fine for me!!! but 'too hot' as in she probably won't know who I am the next time I call.. well, I'll try.. I always try we'll see.. happy to get her number.. I almost let her go.. I walked her to a PC-Bang and as we parted, I got the info because those chances don't come along that often.. odd when I was young, I'd let those opportunities slip by and think about it half of the next day.. |

Email from BF:
I have work to do, but I just want to respond to the get-together thing.
1) Meeting people in Seoul is a hard thing not to do. Going out of your way to meet people is really unnecessary -I, personally, could probably introduce you to many people whom you would like. Anyways, 99.9 percent of people here go out to get drunk as *beep*. I thought you said you were thinking about quiting. I know I am.
2) I couldn't bear it, but I will for you if you really feel you must go. It is to the T the kind of thing I would usually go out of my way to aviod, which, by the way, is not an easy thing to do in this environment.
3) I live near Hongdae. It is where all the foreigners go to get drunk and pick up Korean girls (if they're male) or hang out with guys trying to pick up Korean girls (if they're femail). Basically everybody is ugly, drunker than a teenagers whose parents are gone for the weekend and looking to get laid. It is in the running for all time lamest place I've ever been. I know you think I'm being cynical and exagerating, but I'm really not. On the other hand, many people love it. It could be your scene. Not mine. Still, I'll go with you if you want. But I probably won't talk to anyone.
Sorry if that sounded really critical. It's just that I'm going to spend so much energy trying to avoid situations exactly like that one, that I get a little annoyed. Sorry to be an ass.
hah! of course i'm going

EDIT: i can't quote properly at this time of night, twice |
There might be a lot of geeks around, but a lot of his other complaints, I wouldn't worry about. These things tend to be rather high on the tame-o-meter, and happen to have a large contingent of girls present.
Oh, and I'll be sure not to talk to him, either. |

SHEESH! Had to revive this thread!! Its Thursday morning and I'm once again sitting in a PC-Bang after an all-night drinking session.
This time however I'm overwhelmed with Korean dance music by the guy next to me in the PC-Bang!!
TWO WORDS: IT SUCKS!!! |
