Why, just so you can say "I told you so?".

But, maybe I'm being to harsh. You're absolutely right, EFL, I'm going to write a letter to my congressman forthwith. It will be filled with harsh words decrying this travesty of justice. I will tell him, in no uncertian terms, that even though I didn't vote for him last time either, I certianly won't be voting for him again. That will no doubt get his secretary's attention and all will be right with the world. Thank you for opening my eyes. My god, how could I have been so blind. All I needed was the screeching of a liberal howler monkey to show me the error of my ways. EFL, you're my hero. You sir, are a gentleman and a scholer. One day people will right songs about your greatness. Mothers will name their sons after you and will tell tales of your heroic actions on Dave's ESL Cafe and how your biting wit and knowledge of all things socio-political single-handedly brought peace to the earth and made the lamb lay down with the lion. Statues will be erected bearing your likeness for all to look upon and wonder. When our species ventures into the stars, the first colony will be named in your honor, because through your relentless nagging, all is made possible. God bless you sir.

Typically, that's private information to most Americans, but since I'm laying in to EFL, I may as well tell.

In the Presidential election, neither. Kerry was as big a tard as Bush, just in a different way. I'm not one of the "anyone but Bush" morons. If I'm going to vote for someone, it's because I think he would do a better job than the other guy. And, no matter what anyone says about the Republicans, they have their crap together. (atleast until recently when Bush started going against his own party about a lot of things, it's starting to not look so good for them) The Democrats can claim no such honor. They're getting tossed about like a dinghy in a storm, going which ever way the most extreme liberal wind is blowing. I always fancied myself a democrat, but lately, they've descended into choas. They're a joke. God help us if Hillary makes it on to the Dem's ticket. That woman is scary.

In the local congressional race I wanted to vote for Gephardt, but he was leaving office, and I didn't care for the replacement. Can't even remember who it was now, but Gephardt always seemed like a stand-up guy. I would have voted for him if he had won the democratic primary. Granted, he's a politician, which automatically implies he's crooked in some way or another, but he seemed to be my kind of crooked, which is the best anyone can hope for.

if the guy running against gephardt was the same guy running against him in 2000 and 1998, then yeah, i'd go with gephardt too, even though I don't agree with the guy on a lot of issues. The GOP dude was a creep.

Like BB, I'd be inclined to agree with you, but given your methods... as you say, this is a message board, and it would be embarrassing to validate this OP.

Ditto. The whole Porter Goss thing is satire.

*EDIT* Oh yeah, "If BB could be anymore right, he'd be omnipotent."

And I can't decide whether you're an intolerant, narrowminded fool, or just stupid. I mean, an entire thread on why we don't like EFLtrainer only because my views are different from your views?

Sad little peeps.

dude, you're just dense.

if you honestly think the only reason i talk *beep* about you is because I don't agree with you, i pity you more than anything else. Your perception is zilch.

You're foolishly arrogant and have an incredibly inflated ego.

Do tell... Talking *beep* about anyone is done out of ignorance and stupidity. However, I do support self-defense.
