this isnt hillarious, but i think it was worth sharing. a few days ago i got a haircut. While I was at the salon, in the chair with the lady actually buzzing away, some of my middle school students came in. they wanted to talk, so one bravely walks up and says to me "what are you doing?"

...

of course everyone laughed, and i felt bad because he was actually trying, but not the best thing to say at that time, of course i am getting a haircut.

anyways, thanks for letting me waste a minute of your life...

"I love D!ck." Such a classic.

I wonder what ridiculous things I've said in Korean.

One boy's scenario was "near the street." I meant things like don't play in the street, don't run in the street, don't chase a ball into the street, don't shove your sister into the street when there's a bus coming, etc. This boy, however, showed me his picture. He had drawn two people lying in the crosswalk, mowed down by a Korean motorist, Shocked a man who was lying down and peeking up a woman's skirt Shocked Shocked and an ajosshi who was peeing in public. Shocked Shocked Shocked

That's hilarious, especially item #2. Just the thought of a dude lying down on the street so he could peer up women's skirts .. so absurd!

Doing simple present perfect exercises, I was asking a my students (9 girls, 1 boy) "Have you ever kissed a boy?" As I was going through the group, I accidentally asked the boy this question, and he responded, "I'm not the gay."

one of my students wanted to explain that aboriginal canadians are skilled fishermen, but said instead:

"indians are good at pissing."

my k-wife is pretty fluent at english, but she still makes errors occasionally. at a party, she asked me how my diabetes was. my friends overheard, and i had to calm their fears:

"i don't have diabetes, i have diarrhea!"

ROBT.
