How are the day care centers here (nu li bangs- sorry about the romanization)? Especially the ones that are located in apartment complexes (generally on the first floor; easily recognizable because they have large Mickey Mouse, etc. decals on the windows). Someday I'll have to get my (future) babies in day care, so that's why I'm hunting around for info. So here are my questions to those of you in the know:
1. Are they regulated by the gov't? Do they need a license? Are the providers certified in any way (back home, I think you need to take a basic first aid course and get certified from the red cross)?
2. What kind of activities are planned?
3. How much is it to have your kid there 9 hours/day, 5 days/week?
4. How are the children disciplined? Are they ever hit?
5. How many children are usually at the day care? How many providers are on hand?
Thanks for the info.!!^^ |
