|
|
So there's a 3-day weekend on May 5-7, and I want to do something. I thought about making a short trip to Japan, but I dont want to spend money on a plane ticket for just a few days, and plus it's too late to be planning something like that.
Is there anything going on in Korea that I could check out? Any festivals, concerts, or anything? I'm in the Seoul area and have never travelled outside the area, so I'm really up for anything. If I can't think of anything else, I'm going to try for a DMZ tour I guess.
Anyway, what's everyone else doing, and do you have any ideas for others? Thanks! |

Friday May 5 is combination Children's Day / Buddhas Birthday this year. Head out to a mountain park and see Buddhas B'day festivities at a temple. That's what I'll be doing.
Be aware that traffic will be ridiculous. If you go anywhere on Friday, go early. |

Quick trip to Jeju or Geoje Island? Flying to Jeju would be quick and easy transport, if you can get a ticket at this late date. |
