McCain
Guiliani
Rice
If I was an American voter those would be my picks against the rest of the field.
Except if Jeb Bush decided to run. Then I'd vote for him. |

Is Rice a real contender? A serious possibility?
She has been nothing but Bush's loyal mouthpiece, even as National Security Advisor.
So I have to admit I'm very curious to know what she would say, what policy directions she would take, if she were the boss, if she were to speak her mind...
Would she simply be another GOP puppet?
You would think that if she had strong opinions (or even better, a vision), she would have voiced them by now.... |

With 12 years of Reagan/Bush and another 8 of Bush II it seems clear that the modern Republican party is the party of foreign intervention and runaway deficits. Anyone who votes for them has to know this obvious reality and shouldn't be allowed to complain when that's what they get with the next one. |
