I've been told by my school that the bed in my apartment is an oversized single----that is, a single for people who are taller than six feet. Which set of sheets should I bring for this bed? Single? Twin? And have you had any luck finding Western-style sheets in Korea? Where? Thanks.

my bed is a queen, but when i bought the korean queen size, the sheets were too small. i bought king size sheets in america, and those are about 2x as big as my bed. i just tuck everthing under the mattress and im happy. better to buy big, as you can always sew it to make it fit your bed

I think I was told the same thing and I brought full-size sheets and was ok. Don't bet on finding sheets here. Places have things in stock one month and then you don't see them again for a few months. Besides underwear, shoes, pants (if you are a bit larger) and bed sheets are all things you don't want to spend your first four months in Korea hunting for.
