I may or may not be a poop-magnet (I don't want the censors coming in)

I have a lot of strange stuff happen to me, or around me. I will tell you what has happened in the last week.

1. I was in a game room playing Crazy Taxi and some ajosshi starting kicking stools over like a spoiled little child. I asked him why and he started bitching at me.

2. Yesterday I had salt thrown on me by a local psycho ajumma. The neighbours all say she is moonstruck. She didn't apologize, made an excuse, and yelled at me as if I wronged her.

3. Some psycho ajosshi was shouting and swearing at himself on the street. Then he saw me, approached me, and tried to hug me.

Maybe I will be the next psycho. This shit is driving me up the wall. Is it me, or is it something in the water?

Fight back. Twisted Evil

Seriously, that's weird. Though I think we all have had days (even weeks) where we felt like freak magnets.

I hear ya.

A couple of months ago, at least once a week, whenever I got on the subway I unknowingly would sit near or next to one of the many English speaking Korean preachers who would talk to me about how great God was.

That was a weird month.

Hey, OP, you @!*&%$?!! -- I just sent you a PM! Yeah, I sure gave you a piece of my mind!

Trouble is, I gave you too big a piece, so I'm a little short now. C'mon, give it back, ok?

[Damn, this is a very nice Malbec!]

I don't know if it depends on where you live.

I have lived in poor areas, somewhat poor, very poor, and somewhat affluent areas. I frequent many areas regularily.

The ajosshi trying to hug me happened by Jamsil.

The ajumma throwing salt on me is in Bucheon, as was the man kicking stools.

I used to live in Ilsan (hence the name), and I had my fair share of crazy experiences, though Bucheon seems to have more.

About how great God was or is?

Sorry, I'm being pedantic.

No, I'll just repeat what other waygooks say almost anytime something like this happens: "It's just part of their culture. It's a different culture. You have to remember that this is their country."

Five minutes to a few days later a Korean will ask you, "so how do you like Korea? What do you think about Korean culture?" Rolling Eyes lol
