Ok, I know a lot of us are all broken up about Carrefour leaving the peninsula, but I'm personally a little more miffed about this teacher get-together. I had thought that this Friday would be the day and now it seems like people aren't so into it.

Anyway, I don't want to sound bitter or anything--I'm still planning on doing the regular get-together when everyone else is, but I'm wondering if anyone else would be interested in doing a get-together this Friday. I know some people from out of town were thinking of coming in with the vacation day, and I thought I'd throw out the option of having an additional meet on Friday.

Obviously I'm partial to Storm, which I think would make for a better location for this than for the main event. It's a little smaller and cozier, and a bit more "adult" if I may say so.

Anyway, I'd like to have some kind of get-together in the afternoon or into the night. If anyone's interested, please post here and/or drop me a PM.

I'm always good for parties so if there's some interest in Friday I'd be good for a drink, or maybe more if the crowd's a good one... BUT I would prefer Itaewon purely because Hongdae is such a long haul from Garak Market

To part from proceedings, I'll register an unofficial vote for the Hyatt Hotel as a Friday meet up purely because they're changing the decor in JJs to 'ethnic temple' for this weekend's celebrations... and hey, I like my Korean women proficient in English too!

I'm going to be in the area checking out a few places for the thing on the 13th, so if you're in Storm I can swing in, grab a beer or two and check out the place a bit, see if it fits the bill.
