This has probably been asked before but I can't find it.
Is there an immigration office at the ferry terminal in Busan like the one at Incheon airport where I could get a single re-entry permit before boarding a boat to Japan? |

There is not an office, but there is as an immigration official who will angrily sell you a single re-entry permit. I had to buy one last year. They are not used to selling it, but will if persuaded. |

It would be best to get a re-entry permit stamped into your passport at an immigration office before you go. |

if you're going during business hours, the immigration is literally on the other side of the fence, beside the ferry terminal. I'm talkin' the ACTUAL office, not a booth for the ferry terminal but for the port.
You may wanna make sure you give yourself a bunch of time their too....sometimes, the line is retahded. |
