Well, I checked out some stuff last night with mixed results. It seems like the old cheap-bar-with-outdoor-area style places are all falling to the wayside. Nevertheless, I investigated some stuff and will be making a poll up for it tonight.

I'd be lazy too if I hit all those bars last night in your recon mission. Well done.

You're supposed to take me along on these recons, zyz. It's a rule, pretty sure, or at least a tradition ...

Z's been breaking a few promises lately. My little girl's still asking where her pony is.

That totally slipped my mind. I really could've used the company and second opinion that night. Going into crappy bars by myself and ordering expensive drinks isn't really my thing.

Next time instead of making a joke and then acknowledging it was really out of line and in really poor taste maybe you could just take that knowledge and not make the joke.

You know, skip the middle man.

Hey, I'm a Westerner. They don't observe Thanksgiving, and I don't observe Children's Day.

Yeah, you know, that's just what my therapist keeps telling me, and I'm much better about this now than I was before when my mouth would shoot off first THEN ask pardons later. At least I now make parenthetical pardone in the same moment of my shooting.

(Kinda like shooting up and immediately feeling bad about it afterwards. Kinda like George Carlin describing "civil" war: pardon me...kga kga kga kga kga *motions shooting automatic rifle*. I realize that this doesn't excuse my tasteless humor, but I am getting bbbettter Very Happy .)
