sorry for sounding like a little kid but i rarely get sick and this is damn annoying (was planning on a boozeup for the wknd)

For the last week i started witha sore throat, lump in the throat, progressed to sever snifflles, (like a cold)...

Have been to the pharmacy 3times and got 3 differennt sets of tablets,

Ive also been eating extremely well and LOADS of fruit and veg and Vitamin C etc.. So im surprised cos today it just sees to be worse.
Ive been given the say off work as last classs yesterday my voice was barely there

I very rarely get sick at home, very rarely and i dont smoke.

Anyone know any good remedies or anything? Can u get paracetamol and the likes? Where??

Id prefer not to go to the doctor, but if I [must] does anyone know one where I could go in the Gangnam area- Im at express bus terminal. and speak no Korean

Thanks

Seriously, were you serious?

I suggest Ken's Medical Cafe not Daves ESL Cafe. Or a doctor.

Hi,

There should be an international clinic in Kangnam. They are unsually located in major hospitals and the doctors speak English well.

I know there is an excellent clinic in Jamsil (a few stops from Gangnam). I believe it is called Assan Medical Center...hard to miss.

The Korean clinics will usually just give you a bunch of pills....you should see a doctor used to seeing foreigners.

Hope you feel better soon,

Asan Hospital (immediately south of road 88 and west of Olympic Bridge road) is exccellent - world class facilities.

There is an international section on the ground floor of the east wing, but only open weekdays.

(And yes Eamo, I agree, he was jumped on too hard - but he took it in good spirit).

For most of my minor ailments in Korea, I find an asprin or two and drinking lost of water makes most things disappear in a day or so.

Another believer! Aspirin and lots of water is a cure all for sure.
