Does anyone on the board live here? Is there a neighborhood expat bar/coffee shop/anything where I might meet other westerners?

hey jaga..
there's craploads of foreigners here in Ilsan. It's just not AS obvious as in Seoul. If you're looking for a good place to meet people check out www.adventurekorea.com That website will give you directions to the Adventure Korea club in hwajeong - a foreigner mecca on a friday night. There's also a semi-foreigner hangout in Madu, I've never been so I don't know much about the scene but the bar is call the Underground bar.
