I'm sure this has been covered somewhere before but I've tried searching 3 times now and only get a white page--very frustrating...
My friends are coming to visit (yee haw) for a week and we want to go to Jeju. I've heard it's easier to get around if you rent a car instead of buses/taxis. We plan on going to the little island Uldo (?) and would like to hike a little. We'll be there 2 nights and 3 days.
Any advice? I haven't driven in Korea yet --been here 8 mos. Do I need a Korean license or will my American one be ok? How much does it cost?Would it be easier to take buses/taxis if we're only going a few places? I don't mind driving, I just like having other people take me where I want to go. There's the whole getting lost business too...
Thanks for any info/suggestions. |

Try hertz or Avis. I've always rented cars on Jeju. Made a resercation and picked the car up at the airport.
You will need a Korean DL or your American DL and an International DL. |
