| what exactly is so cool about the JSA? It's just a building where both sides hold talks, or is there more to it? |
1. The hot soilders.
2. You can do the 'cross the line'
3. The hot soliders.
4. Why would you bother going all the way to the DMZ tour not to go there.
5. The hot soliders. |

There's not much to the JSA other than the fact that you get to see the conference table with the mic that's always on and "cross the line", as mentioned earlier.. It's very cool to see the soldiers stare each other down though..
I'm going to try the adventurekorea one out.. never been to Dorasan station or the tunnels before.. |

Just went to 3rd tunnel and Dorasan on Wednesday. Very cool especially if you are with a Korean National.
JSA tours are only for NON Koreans. Unless you book them 6 months in advance.

Is this true? I was hoping to take the tour with my Korean girlfriend. It would kind of suck if she couldn't go there. Can anyone else verify this? |

| I was under the impression it was 2 weeks in advance with a permit. I don't recall. |

Back in August, I booked a week in advance with no problems.
All you need to do is pay your money and turn up at the allocated time with your passport/ID.

Google is your friend. Call USO Korea as they speak English...they answered all my questions that I had and were very helpful. HTH. |
