I really don't know how you guys stick it. I work at a Uni.

There's no way I'd work at a public school unless I owned it. And even then i'd only call in to raid the safe for my next holiday.

So..congrats you people, you are real stoics. I wouldn't have the patience..

large class sizes, mandated curriculum with little variation allowed, sometimes uncooperative co-teachers in the classroom rather than complete autonomy in teaching

i do wonder how you do it!

Only 2 weeks holiday. You have to be there all day whether you've got work to do or not. you have to teach summer camps.

Its the money. Its the holidays. 2 weeks? I got over a month this winter. Will get a month this summer too, maybe more.

I second that!

Kudos to people who feel they need to slam other people.

You have to make our own happiness. I have known people who have Uni gigs, yet they have SOOOO many issues. Same with public schools, and Hogwans.

There is no need to put people down...just a waste of time really. Rolling Eyes
