Does anyone know if it's possible to do a visa run to Japan's Tsushima Island. It's so close (between Pusan and Fukuoka).

Probably not, as far as I know there is no Korean consulate there, but there is just a few hours away in Fukuoka. I've done a visa run to Jakarta, Indonesia, despite Immigration here telling me I couldn't. Pretty much any country with an Embassy or Consul will give you an E2, but it can take longer than the two days that it takes in Nippon.

Dehli was good. Shanghai would be cheap.

I've seen an ad in the Korea Times by one of the travel agents offering a visa run package to Macau.

No, but I've been there before. It's really close but that only counts for the town on the north side; if you're going to Izuhara it has to go all the way around to the south part and it takes just as long as it does to get to Busan.

Here's what I wrote on it:

It's all listed in the TRAVEL forum of this board.

Japan is typically overnight.
Bangkok is typically overnight.
Manila is 2 - 4 days but can be done in 1 hour if you have an INTERNATIONAL flight going somewhere OTHER than Korea on the same day (experience talking - been there done that).
Guam is overnight.
China is 1-4 days but you need a visa to enter China first.

I think that covers most of the close ones.

I did a run to Hong Kong. It took less than 3 hours to fly to from Busan. I got into HK at 11am...train directly to downtown....walked 10 minutes to the consulate....had everything in before 2pm...picked up the visa the next morning at 9 am....smooth...and as cheap as Fukuoka and Osaka....plus HK is great to see and explore.
