| I don't know! I got some topic reply messages from Dave's, so I know people replied to it, but then I got the old "The topic does not exist" page when I clicked on the link. All I said was that Hard Gay Guy "softly humping" elementary school kids was inappropriate, IMO. That still kills me... Hard Gay Guy. Heh heh heh.... |

Without wanting to resurrect it, I'd like to know what that thread was all about. It was boiling over around the time I joined, and a bit afterwards. Already fantastically long when I first saw it. And being a new member, I wasn't interested in reading all 2,908 pages. Nor did reading the odd page here & there give much of an impression as to the "why?" of it.
Then (I guess) it disappeared one fine day, and after that all anyone ever sees are eye-rolling, shuddering references to it -- dozens of them -- and some conflicting claims as to who won the argument. Hmm. So, who did win, and what was the verdict? Indeed, who was the subject of the debate?  Who was the person that posters were claiming was "gay or stud"?
So, could someone fill me and others in very briefly on that whole episode? Beyond what's obvious from the thread title, what was it about?
And why did it go on so long? Why did so many posters take part in it? Why was it yanked? |

| That thread widened out to the broader issue of the uncomfortable relationship between the church/bible and homosexuality. It included such aspects as "does the bible really condemn homosexuality" and "should homosexuals be able to be ministers", "is homosexuality unchristian" etc etc. On the anti gay side Kangnamdragon and Corporal were the star players, ably matched by Hojucandy and some other weirdo I can't remember... |

Where's he been? He seemed this hardcore catholic guy. I remember once he was gettin' on about people trying dilute catholic morality... although in another thread he was screaming where he could possibly find a girlfriend. So I asked him if he was such a devote Catholic, was he the one foreigner in Korea who was celibate until marriage?
He never answered. |
