In Search of Jobs
"Job Fair for Female College Students"
http://times.hankooki.com/lpage/200605/kt2006052417501012810.htm

If you can have a job fair for female college students, then can you have a job fair for male college students?
Would anything happen if a job fair sponsored by a major university and recruitment company was called "Job Fair for Male College Students?" Would someone from the government have something to say?

A woman's university and an online site are having an on-campus job fair targeting female jobseekers. Lighten up.

The good news is, Real Reality, there are already plenty of job fairs for male students.

Actually, I think it is nice to see this. Men are usually given many more opportunities, so to see this chance for women to see what is out their for them seems like a good thing.

Please post one job fair sponsored by a men's university and recruitment company entitled: "Job Fair for Male College Students"

What is Korea's first private college for men?

Apparently you missed the last 100,000 years of human history.

Men can choose army, navy, air force, or marines. Women should be given more opportunities. Which one would women like to choose more often?

If this happened in Vancouver I would be irritated. But complaining about a job fair to assist women in Korea of all places is small beer. Women here have enough disadvantages in the workplace without taking away something tiny like this.

Further, if I were a woman and went to a woman's job fair that's just flight attendant and secretary jobs anyway, it wouldn't make me feel like much has changed. I have adult female students who went to a company recruiting seminar and were measured for height, and the short ones were told to leave!

You really get the feeling sometimes RR is the kind of guy you knew back in North America where you go out to a restaurant and it comes time to settle up the bill. Everyone puts in enough money for the bill plus a tip. The waitress did a good job and didn't get freaked out when your slightly drunk friend kept trying to get her phone number. But RR counts out to the penny what he owes, leaves nothing for tip, and has 25 ready excuses why tipping is the downfall of civilization.
