Finally something goes right for the lone Canadian franchise. They got a decent core with Bosh, Charlie V, and Joey Graham, and got lots of $ for a big-name free agent (if they can attract one). Who do you think they'll take (assuming they kep 1st pick)? I'll put my money on LaMarcus Aldridge (6-11, 245 lbs) from Texas- big body to help Bosh on the interior. Apparently they played against eachother in high school, and Bosh has nothing but high regards of him. Should be interesting...

I would take Adam Morrison, his size and althetic ability make him hard to gaurd against. Him and bosh would be a nightmare upfront. It could be like garnett and Nowinski together.

You made me spit milk all over my screen damn you!

If the Raps take Morrison first overall, Colangelo is no better than Babcock in my book...

I saw Eldridge or the Italian.

SI's first mock draft has Morrison going 8th to Houston. It surprised me to see him going that low, although that would be a nice combo with TMac and Yao. If he does start slipping, I'd love to see the Sonics trade up a few spots and grab him.
This site always updates their mock drafts, and always has a year ahead as well www.nbadraft.net
Good chance that Denham Brown will be around for the Raptors in the 2nd round (35th, draft.net has him there now).

I see the Raps going after Aldridge, Thomas or Bargnani - in that order of priority. Morrison might help them, but they could probably trade down and still get him - he's more likely to be the "next Tony Kukoc" rather than the second coming of Bird, and thus not worth a #1. You don't draft a guard or small forward at #1 unless you're talking about Lebron James (just to name the most recent). As the saying goes, "you can't teach size."

I'm just hacked that the Blazers - with the best chance to win the damned thing - got stuck with fourth, the worst of all possible worlds. I swear, the NBA's version of the Curse of the Babe is developing in the Rose City. This is Portland's comeuppance for drafting Sam Bowie and for trading Jermaine O'Neal.
