Hey is he still there? The really old Korean guy who makes grunts and pulls his hair. He usually sits in Itaewon Station by the ATMs or at the entrance to Itaewon by Noksapyeong Station. Anyone know who I'm talking about?

I have no frickin' clue, just waiting for someone to move it. I didn't realize until I was finished that I posted it in the wrong category.

The fellow is still there grunting and stamping his feet at the mere sight of Whitey (or, as the case may be, em, Darkey).

Carry on.

That guy MIGHT be playing us. Once I saw him sitting on the grass outside Noksapyong counting a wad of 10,000s.

Those guys never seem to go away.

The last month or two.. there has been an older Korean woman who aggressively grabs my arm and pulls it while managing to painfully say 'hungry' over and over.

She has a good shtick for being so relatively new on the Itaewon scene.

The guy camped out (literally) by the ATM at 이태원역 has a pretty sweet spot. I see him helping a lot of the hangul-illiterate folks out then taking a cut of the action.

So, who's your favorite old crazy guy? I like the wheelchair guy in Myeongdong in front of the cathedral. There every day, belting out some kind of religious crap, neither in Korean or English I don't think.
