anyone know what kind of evidence i need to prove my hubby committed adultery?
i saw on his cell several messages from some girl including "i love you" and making plans to meet. then one hour after the meeting time there was a credit card charge for a hotel by his office. by their messages, it is quite clear they were having some sort non-work related relationship and there were 3 different credit card charges to hotels.
he claims she is a co-worker and yes, they had "feelings" for each other but never did anything physical and gave some bogus excuses for hotel charges.
does anyone have any experience with this? do i need to collect more evidence or is what i have enough? |

I have written too many posts today but I will answer one more because the talk is good.
Sweetie it's enough. Hotel bills are like the number 3 answer to an affair. I love u?? Ouch.
Your course of action is your own. How long have u been together? Is the marriage worth working out? Do u have children? How much have you invested in this relationship? Can u take time out for yourself? Find some support. :X |

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through some difficult times. I hope things work out for the better for you.
It pains me to say this, but adulterous sex is only the physical manifestation of an affaire.
Please PM Harpeau if you need to talk with someone about this. He's a counselor. |

Adultery in korea is a criminal offence. It is punishable by possible prison time and monetary damages to the offended families.
Criminal prosecution requires physical evidence, so in this case you will need material proof of 'the deed' such as bodily fluids, a photo of the two in bed together, or an admission of guilt by one of the parties involved..
I had a Korean lawyer friend who explained this to me a while ago.
However, if you want to make a case for divorce, you only need some minor proof such as phone messages, hotel receipts, etc. Since both parties must agree to a divorce in Korean law, you can get around it with a substantiated complaint of adultery. |

Got no helpful info, but just wanted to say I'm sorry you had to go through that. What goes around comes around though. |

wake up! I would have kicked him out the second I found those hotel charges. Does he thinkyou are stupid or something? Maybe he does. Anyhow, you had better be careful, you could be given something that will last a life time, even aids. |

Wait, you've been married one year right? You got married April 30th of 2005 right? I may be wrong......and he's already cheating on you? You should get the proof (take a digital pic of the cell phone I love yous) and get a copy of the reciept for the love hotel. Present him with the evidence, then get him to admit the affair on tape, then nail his f'kin ass to the wall.
And there ya have it.
Then again, you could also shoot, shovel, and shut up

There are persons who offer private investigator services. They'll plant GPS tracking devices up under the engines of cars, use computers to find hack e-mail and bank records, etc. They are widely used in Korea for a fee.
I imagine if you had a English speaking lawyer that they'd have info for ya. |
