Hey,
Heard a rumor that Dimitri from Paris is going to be playing at Woo Bar in Sheraton Walkerhill on June 10th. However, I haven't been able to find any info about it on the internet. Can anyone confirm this or provide a link with more information? Thanks |

I hope to God this is true!!!!!! I didnt think Koreans would be mad into his sets though, they tend to like their dance music hard, and fast not soulfu, laidback and groovy
If he's coming, IM there, gonna check it out |

Im there!!!!Sweeeeeeeeeeet!!
He's Dimitri from Paris of course...
He plays soulful/vocal/ house very disco influenced.
He's also a great producer who has produced many many tunes you would definetely recognise- on labels like Defected and astrelworks...
I saw him before and he was playing with a live bass player adn percussionist, hopefully itll be the same story here.
DO you know the 'night at the playboy mansion' series he did?Theyre probably his biggest albums.. Also his 'defected in the house' compilation is pretty damn fine |

Woo Bar is like a hotel lobby. but all white and post modern... actually kind of cold and impersonal. The crowd is hi-so Korean and they stand around or sit around practically motionless, for the most part, sipping on their " one free drink". Beers were 15,000 won at the last party I went to there... |

his comps are good, the playboy mansion series which actually could of been really cheesy have a lot of good tracks on them plus re-edits he's done
he's obviously into really good music not just pulling himself off like a lot of these people
as a producer i would say so/so - like his last album wasn't overly memorable |

^ I think he's a fantastic producer, and one of the few house music producers that can really work the live elements in dance music. I think also its his remixes that his remixes are his best work |
