Friday night is upon us and I need to line up some downloads for my regular Sunday morning viewing. To that end, does anyone have any recommendations for films I can pirate (using bit torrent)? Anyone seen anything good lately (aside from the obvious blockbusters)?

I think you need to tell us more about what you want.

Probably true.

I enjoy a good documentary (film or TV), but I feel like I've seen a lot of the good ones over the past year (Enron, Human Animal, Grizzly Man, etc.). I'm waiting for PBS' 'Country Boys' to download right now, actually, but it's been slow in coming. So, docs are always good.

Also, dramas. Liked the 'Squid and the Whale,' and 'Transamerica.'

For example.

Really, though, I'm up for anything.

Alright, let's see what I can come up with.

Register here. It's the best selection of documentaries I've found. I recommend the IMAX movie about beavers. They are hilarious.

If you haven't seen it and you like comedy, give Trailer Park Boys a try. Seasons 2, 3, and 4 are the best to start with.

Depending on the program you're using, you don't need to download entire seasons. You can select which files you want.

That site also has a lot of good Discovery type shows, but check that there are seeders. If you like Mythbusters, you'll probably enjoy Dirty Jobs.

Here's another decent list of documentaries:

I enjoy watching their Carl Sagan Cosmos shows.

Thanks for the suggestions. I do like the Dirty Jobs shows, particularly the host (can't recall his name right off).

I'll have a look at a few of those other sites.

Sarah Silverman's "Jesus is Magic".

Just be selective about who you watch it with...
