I'm no Brit, so that was pretty hilarious.
I could literally feel the vacuum when J, B and W sucked in their breath on seeing the thread title. That's dangerous stuff though: might find yourself liable for hospital/funeral costs for one of your countrymen the next time you pull a prank like that. |

If B refers to me, then no. I'm not British. Not into soccer all that much either. But news is news and Rooney has been news lately. |

Sorry B. I guess your reaction and avatar fooled me. Can't really see his teeth, but he could pass for a Brit. A handsome Phill Collins, perhaps. |

That's Karl Pilkington. An unwitting comedic genius.
Whilst we are on the subject of England and World cup mania, what do we think of this man? Use one one to sum him up:

I'll start, COOL |

Rooney on the front page of most of the British press doing bloody scissor kicks!!!

Personally, although I want him fit for United primarily, I want Wayne to play in the World Cup finals cos he deserves it...
United wouldn't let him go unless he was fully recovered... but there's no way his injury was as bad as it first looked - miracle recovery!!
