Check out this bullcrap. The best parts are all the typos and grammatical errors, plus the fact that somehow NIGERIA is involved. Why does this stuff always start in goddam NIGERIA? Oh, and my contact is a REVEREND. Oh ho ho! Forgive me father, for I will sin. If I meet you I will poke your eyes out.
Spectacles, testiclees, wallet, and watch.

I think a lot of people aren't aware of these fishing scams, and the first time they get an email stating that they may have a lot of money coming to them they at least momentarily get carried away by wishful thinking. Reportedly (from U.S. Embassy warnings...) some idiots actually journeyed to some African countries to try to collect, and they were never heard from again and presumed dead... |

I like how the douche bag is a Reverand AND a Father so he's like doubly holy.
Have you ever read the blog where the guy takes up the Nigerian on the scam but scams him back and gets the Nigerian to do all kinds of stupid crapola like getting a stuido picture taken with a loaf of bread on his head? It's hilarious stuff. |

If theres one thing I hate worse than spam, its 419 scammers. For those of you who dont know, a 419 scam is the one youll occasionally get where a person writes to you, claiming he is from another country (usually Nigeria or Egypt). The base of the story is that the government has been overthrown, or he has inherited a very large sum of money, usually in the millions of dollars. However, he either 1.) cannot touch this money because of the legalities of his home country, or 2.) he wishes to take this money out of the country, but he needs your help. All he needs is your bank account number and your promise to not keep all of his money.
Believe it or not, this scam has worked many, many times on many, many people. Especially with the elderly. They play on the religious beliefs of people, as youll see in the following exchange between me and one such scammer, who is pretending to be terminally ill in a hospital in Italy. For those who are fed up with such spammers and dipshits, I dedicate this very real email exchange to you.
Get comfortable because these exchanges took place over the course of a month and a half. Its going to be long. |

I always write them back using the most foul-mouthed language you can imagine. It's fun to use them as a punching bag- it's a great stress-reliever. |

419 419! Check out mine:
Quote: |
Dear xxxxx
Dear xxxxx I am xxxxxxxxx, a legal practitioner in Malaysia with many years of practice.
I was an attorney to a deceased client of mine who died in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia of a heart related condition in 2001. My reason of sending you this email is to help secure the funds left behind by my client before it is confiscated or declared unserviceable by the bank where this fund valued at $5.7million dollars was deposited.
Since you do have the same surname with my late client, I would want to present you as the legitimate beneficiary with all legal documents required to back the claim up.
The holding bank has issued me a notice to contact the next of kin, or the account will be confiscated, and so far, all my efforts to get hold of someone related to this man has proved abortive.
This is my proposal; I am asking for your consent to present you to the bank as the next-of-kin and beneficiary of my late client, since you have the same last name, so that the proceeds of this account can be paid to you. Then we can share the amount on a mutually agreed-upon percentage. I do have a good standing in Malaysia, it is my assurance that this transaction will be successful and that I will make sure that the transaction is done within the applicable laws to guarantee full legitimacy
All legal documents to back up your claim as my client's next-of-kin will be provided by me. All I require is your honest cooperation to enable us see this transaction through.
This will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law. However, if this business proposition offends your moral values, do accept my apology.
Please contact me at once to indicate your interest. Do understand that this transaction do require utmost confidence and you should keep this mail to yourself not withstanding if you are rejecting the transaction or accepting it.
Note that I reserve the right to reject your acceptance of this proposal if I have reasons to believe that you may not be honest or discreet as it concerns this proposal.
Further details will be giving as soon as your interest is indicated.
Yours Sincerely,
XXXXXXXXXXXX

I just had to google 'scam + beneficiary' to find out about other very similar scams. One thing I didn't understand is that this guy has an office in KL - I checked out the website of his law firm and everything. Maybe the scammer was using his name. |

The guy who fooled one of those Nigerian scammers and ended up a few bucks ahead of the game was brilliant. Church of the red painted breast? |

I wrote to that guy once saying that all I want to do is sleep with his wife. He can keep the money, I just want his wife. Didn't hear back from him again. |

Holy Crap. You raped my eyeballs! I tried to click away from that picture as quickly as I could but I still fear that I may never be the same. Reading your exchange with the scammer, however, was worth the psychological damage I received at the end of it.
Edit: I concede that my eyeballs were not exactly 'raped' because I was warned and still chose to click that link, but still... |
